The Impact Entrepreneurship Group is excited to announce an awards program honouring some of Canada's most impressive youth entrepreneurs! The objective of these awards is to recognize and bring to the forefront the successes of youth entrepreneurs, highlighting them as role models for the rest of Canada.
For 2008, Impact is the proud host of Entrepreneurship Week Canada, a global initiative to educate and allow future leaders of our society to explore the benefits of entrepreneurship. Through this endeavour, the entrepreneurs of tomorrow will be born as they are given the knowledge and opportunities necessary to start a successful venture today. The Impact Awards reflect the 5 themes of EWC:

- Technological Entrepreneur of the Year
- Green Entrepreneur of the Year
- Woman Entrepreneur of the Year
- Arts Entrepreneur of the Year
The Impact Awards is committed to rewarding outstanding students and notable entrepreneurs for their stellar achievements. If you know someone who would be an excellent candidate for these awards, please nominate them today!

Eligibility
- Between the ages of 16 – 30 as of October 12th, 2008
- The nominee must be the founder and controlling shareholder/owner of their company and principally responsible for its operation
- Must have been in business for at least the last three consecutive months (as of the time of the application)
- Must not have been a previous Impact Award winner
- Must be able to attend the Impact Gala as part of the Impact National Conference held at the Westin Harbour Castle in downtown Toronto on Friday, November 21st, 2008*
Judges
The judging panel for the 2008 Impact Awards consists of accomplished industry leaders and Impact executives. Judges will receive all applications electronically by mid October and will complete the judging process by late October.
Winners
Winners will be notified via email by early November. All applicants are encouraged to register for the Impact National Conference from November 21st to 22nd, 2008 while the winner for each category will be invited to attend the conference for free.
